Learn about the
historical development of astronomy, the laws of motion and gravity,
the formation of stars and planets, the Sun and solar system,
terrestrial and jovian planets, Pluto and the other dwarf planets,
asteroids, meteoroids, comets, planets around other
stars, life in the universe, and the search for habitable worlds.
Companion
course: ASTRO 006 - Stars and Galaxies
Students who have passed ASTRO 001 or ASTRO 010 may not take this
course for GN credit.
