  • Astro 001 [Web Course] :   I worked on a project, with a team at Penn State, for creating an interactive multimedia introductory astronomy course. The course is designed as a science fiction story with the contents taught through its characters. Enrollments, Spring 07 : 400 undergraduate students, Fall 07 : 700 students.

  • Lectured on Galaxy Evolution at the Explorations in Space Sciences & Astronomy symposium organized for students from the Johns Hopkins Center for Talent Youth [http://cty.jhu.edu/] on November 04, 2006.

  • Invited speaker for the 3rd Annual BioDays at Penn State. BioDays is an annual outreach event for the general public featuring Penn State Research.

  • Planetarium shows:
  • Nov 28, 2006: students from third and fourth grade of Park Forest Elementary School, PA.
  • Dec 07, 2006: a group of 26 students from third grade of Williamsport Elementary School, PA.
  • Jan 30 and Feb 06, 2007: students from Houserville Elementary School, PA.
  • Feb 15, 2007: members of Penn State Multicultural Engineering Program.
  • Feb 27, 2007: home school students from State College, PA.
  • July 19, 2007: 15 students from seventh and eighth grade of the Higher Achievement Scholars program for middle school children from lower income Washington D.C.
  • July 31, 2007: 14 students and family from the Galaxy Explorer summer camp.
