Testing the SAC-B satellite
SAC-B Shake Test
The SAC-B satellite is mounted on the horizontal shake
table at INPE-LIT in June 1995 for vibration testing. The purpose of this
testing is to simulate the vibrations experienced during launch
to verify that the satellite is well-built and will survive this harsh environment. The SAC-B satellite and CUBIC instrument passed the
test with flying colors.
