SAC-B satellite buildup

This photo shows the SAC-B satellite being built in the cleanroom of INVAP in Villa Golf, near Bariloche, Argentina. The large white cart is an integration facility built specifically to enable construction of this satellite. The cart can hold the satellite structure by either its base or by its top and can rotate it to various orientations, permitting easy access to all sides of the satellite for assembly purposes. In this photo, the satellite is being held horizontally during an early phase of its assembly.
