CUBIC Serial Commands

Most of the CUBIC commands are serial commands, which are listed in Table 26. The Serial Commands control most aspects of the payload operation and set thresholds and DAC voltages.

CUBIC Serial Commands consist of two bits of SAC-B serial command addressing, six bits of CUBIC serial command addressing, and eight bits of data. This permits up to 64 CUBIC serial commands. The CUBIC serial commands are shown in Table 26. Commands SC12 -- SC16 set the allowed variations in supply voltages from the nominal values before the ICP detects a Power Supply Status Out of Range or a Clock Voltage Status Out of Range condition. (These signals are out of range if or , where is the range given by the appropriate serial command. V here is measured in units of DN as reported by the ADC on the appropriate housekeeping channel. The values uploaded to the satellite will be actual DN/16 (8 most significant bits).)
