The CUBIC Flight Calibration

The CUBIC instrument will be calibrated in flight using both on-board calibration sources and astronomical calibration objects. The on-board source will be monitored continuously for to assess the health and status of the instrument. Astronomical calibration targets include the North Ecliptic Pole, which will be monitored daily to track long-term and short-term changes in instrument response and in non-instrumental background, and the Crab nebula, which will be monitored every six months. Results will be posted here as they become available.
