This Figure shows the (m_2,a) plane, useful for discussing
the sensitivity of SIM to binary companions, and for assessing
the efficiency of radial velocity surveys at detecting such
companions. Several families of curves are shown. Also
shown are detected candidate planetary and brown dwarf companions
(boxes). The mass of the primary star is assumed to be 1 solar mass.
