Alternate directions to Loon's Nest Banquet Center:

To avoid Road Construction on US-131

• Start by going East on Fulton (right turn out of the Church)
• At the East Beltline, turn RIGHT (heading South), then immediately get into the LEFT LANE to make a U-TURN so you will be heading North on the East Beltline.
• Continue North on the East Beltline for a very, very long way. As you are driving North, the name of the road will change several times, but it is still the same road, do not turn off it (East Beltline --> Northland Dr --> Wolverine Blvd --> Northland Dr). There is some construction on the bridge over the Grand River, the bridge goes from 4 to 2 lanes, but this is probably preferable to the US-131 construction.
• You will pass though Rockford, Ceder Springs, and when you get to Pierson, look for Pierson Road (it's right in "downtown" Pierson).
• Turn LEFT onto Pierson Road
• You will pass over US-131 (no exit/entrance ramps to US-131), then look for Bass Lake Rd on your RIGHT
• Turn RIGHT onto Bass Lake Rd
• About a tenth of a mile down the road on the LEFT is the Whitefish Lake Golf Club and the Loon's Nest Banquet Center

To return to the hotels

• Reverse the last several steps of these directions to get back onto Northland Drive (Federal Rd in Pierson) - RIGHT onto Bass Lake, LEFT onto Pierson Rd, RIGHT onto Northland Dr/Federal Rd/M-44
• Take Northland Drive back through Ceder Springs and Rockford
• There is some construction on the bridge over the Grand River, immediately before the bridge is West River Dr, turn RIGHT onto West River Dr.
• Take take West River Dr to US-131
• RIGHT (round-about) enterance onto South US-131
• Take US-131 to I-96
• RIGHT enterace onto West I-96
• Take I-96 to Alpine Ave, RIGHT exit onto Alpine (#30B)
• Keep to the right on Alpine (the exit ramp becomes a new lane on Alpine)
• At the first light, make a RIGHT turn onto Center Drive
• Take Center Drive back around all the stores until you get to the hotels (which are on the RIGHT)
