Since 2004 April I have been a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Pennsylvania State University (USA). Previously I was a post-doctoral researcher in the Institute of Astronomy of the Physics Department at the University of Sydney (Australia), and in the Astrophysics group at the Keele University (UK). I have a PhD in Astronomy from the Astronomy and Astrophysics Department at the Tel Aviv University (Israel), a Masters in General Relativity and B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem (Israel).
I am a member of the NASA Swift gamma-ray burst Team and regularly serve as a Burst Advocate specialist. This telescope is dedicated to the detection of gamma-ray bursts with follow-up observations in X-ray, optical and ultraviolet bands.
