A Brief Biography
My
name is Christopher Palma, and I'm originally from Cedar Knolls (Exit 36A off of I-287),
New Jersey (which is actually quite nice and
undeserving of its reputation among Pennsylvanians). I currently live in State
College, Pennsylvania with my wife Shannon, and
our 3 cats, Gracie, Lucy, and Mosby. I'm
a graduate of Whippany Park High School
and Penn State University. At PSU, I completed
my BS in Astronomy & Astrophysics and
Physics. I received my Ph.D. in Astronomy
from The University of Virginia in May
of 2001. In August of 2001 I returned to the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics
at Penn State to begin work as a postdoctoral scholar, and I am currently serving
as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics and an Outreach Fellow
for the Eberly College of Science.
