Astronomical instrumentation; Extragalactic astronomy;
radio and X-ray observations of active galaxies (quasars, BL Lacs)
Current Projects Include:
We've just completed the final Concept Study for the Swift Gamma Ray
Burst Observatory, a three-telescope observatory we've proposed
(with colleagues from Goddard Space Flight Center, the UK and Italy)
for NASA's MIDEX program. See
