Hardware Available for NR Group Use
The NR Group has several workstations and clusters under its own administration (although,
still a part of the Astronomy Department Network).
The following .astro.psu.edu machines
constitute the general-purpose NR machines:

*corona has moved the gravity.psu.edu domain.
**terminator.astro.psu.edu is the NFS file-server for the NR
machines, and as such, is not designated as a user workstation.
We also manage two Beowulf-class clusters:
- revolution.astro.psu.edu
- 20(+1) nodes:
- Pentium III 700 MHz
- 512 MB RAM
- Fast Ethernet inter-connect
- manifold.astro.psu.edu
- 39(+1) nodes:
- Intel Xeon 2.2 GHz
- 2048 MB RAM
- Fast Ethernet and Myrinet inter-connects
