Public Information and Outreach Activities

The mission of Penn State includes teaching, research, and public service. With our outreach program, we aim to fulfill the public service mission of the department by sharing the excitement of the discoveries of astronomy with the widest possible variety of audiences. In order to spread appreciation of science, the wonder of discovery, and the process of science education to students and interested people of all ages.
