TA Positions in the Astronomy Department
The ASTRO 11 Head TA does not take part in the hiring of new TAs (so
please don't ask me for a job!). However, here are a few things I have
been told that the faculty consider when hiring TAs:
- we only consider people who submit hard copy resumes
- we will not know until sometime in December whether there
are openings for Spring, and sometime in late April or May whether
there are openings for Fall
- we rarely go outside of the department to hire TAs
