Hello and welcome to the Penn State Astronomy & Astrophysics Grad Bios Page! This site will provide you with short biographical sketches of the graduate students in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at Penn State University.
What specifically can you find here? In this page you'll find a list of all the grad students in the Department, arranged by class year. You can also find a list of the students who got their PhDs recently, and also a list of students that were once part of our grad family. From here you can jump to separate pages for each category (class year, recent PhDs, former grads), where the students' bios are located.
As part of each bio, you'll find the student's email address (with spaces around the "@" to avoid spambots) and his/her personal webpage (if available). You can also find useful information, like the student's research advisor, research interests, alma mater (undergraduate university), and reasons for choosing Penn State for grad school. You will also find some fun info for each grad, including other (non-academic) interests, birthday and favorite color. You can even find a little South Park representation of each student (for larger versions of those pics, go to the Davey Lab South Park Gallery).
