Local information:
The  workshop will be held on the Pennsylvania State University's University Park Campus located in State College, Pennsylvania, USA.  

The town of State College and the university campus combine to offer a relaxed, college town atmosphere with many shops, restaurants and points of interest. Recreational opportunities abound including fine golf courses,  tennis courts, gymnasiums and swimming facilities. Air travel:
Delta Connection, US Airways Express, Northwest Airlink, and United Express serve the University Park Airport (State College PA, airport code SCE) located six miles from the conference site. Connections can be made through Washington-Dulles (IAD), Philadelphia (PHL), Cincinnati (CVG), and Detroit (DTW). Taxi and shared limousine services are available at the State College/University Park Airport.  Car rental is available at the airport but is not needed for the workshop.  Early air reservations are encouraged as the airplanes into State College are small and inexpensive seats disappear quickly.

Ground travel:
By auto, State College lies about 2 hours from Pittsburgh, 3 hours from Philadelphia and Baltimore, 4 hours from New York and Washington. Maps and directions are available hereGreyhound bus service is available from major cities to State College, Pennsylvania.
